Ashfall
It looks like Ashfall will be an intriguing multiplayer game. For now, of course, there are no details.
The new studio is called Liithos, and its first game will be Ashfall. An announcement on the Liithos website describes the game as the first real Web 3 title.0 AAA games for PC, consoles and the Hedera network. What's more, the title will use a "native, low-energy cryptocurrency" called HBAR.
Michael Mumbauer and John Garvin, two experienced PlayStation developers who worked on The Last of Us and Days Gone, have begun work on a new brand under their own name.
John Garvin used to work at Bend Studio. He was the creative director of a number of games including the iconic Syphon Filter. In addition, he wrote and directed Uncharted: Golden Abyss and the aforementioned Days Gone. Mumbauer, on the other hand, was head of the Visual Arts Service Group under the wings of PlayStation.
The title is expected to be a multiplayer game, and the first artwork has already appeared online as a small preview of what we can expect. A small town in the mountains, bomb explosions and a foggy atmosphere. It promises to be very interesting.
